William L. Robinson, 87 of Earleville, MD died June 18, 2020 in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

William (Bill) Robinson was born on December 1, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Luther M. and Marjorie Shutes Robinson. He graduated from Williamson Trade School in Media, PA in 1952.  He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years with 2 years in Korea. After his honorable discharge he worked as a builder in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area, building over 300 homes in Chester County.  He built warehouses.  He also was a hospital administrator and owned a marina.  Bill was an elected official for Middletown Township and a vestryman for the Reformation Lutheran Church in Media, PA.  He enjoyed snow skiing all over the world.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn.

Bill is survived by his children, Kenneth Robinson of Kennett Square, PA, Janet Preman (Edward) of Hobe Sound, FL, and Susan Gordon of Aston, PA; a step-son Jacob Glassman (Lara) of Arlington, VA; a brother David Robinson; 5 grandchildren, Steven, Timothy, Megan and Brittany and Jonah and 4 great grandchildren, Mickey, Kelsey, Tessa and Cara.

Services will be held privately.
