William W. Elburn, Jr.,79 of Chestertown, Maryland passed away on January 26, 2021, at University of Maryland Laurel Regional Hospital, Laurel, MD.
Mr. Elburn, Bill, was born on June 21, 1941, son of the late William Walter Elburn, Sr. and Jesse Brooks Elburn. He was a resident of Owings and Chestertown, MD where he was a 1959 graduate of Sudlersville High School. He founded and owned E.L.B Enterprises Collision Repair Center and operated the business for 22 years, retiring in 2000. Bill was a member of Elks Lodge 2474 since 1990, serving as a trustee for five years, and was a past member of Chester River Country Club. He was a private pilot who loved hot rods and classic cars, golf, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie Lue Bostic Elburn; children, Patrick Elburn (Judy) of Chester, MD, Kim Nicholson (Chris "Nip") of Worton, MD, and Stacey Mongold (Gregg) of Sykesville, MD; a brother James Elburn of Sudlersville; sister, Nancy M. Elburn Memolo of Elizabeth City, NC; and four grandchildren, Darcy Elburn, Bonnie Palmatory (Will), Jessi Mongold, and Emily Mongold.
Per Bill's wishes, no service will be held. The family encourages you to give to the cause of your choice in his memory.
