William H. Brown, Jr., 52 of Marydel, MD, passed away on July 21, 2025 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

William was born on December 30, 1972, son of the late William Henry Brown, Sr. and Shirley May Ervin Brown.  He was raised in Marydel where he was a 1990 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School.  He worked for Brambles and recently for RL Ewing laying asphalt.

William was a member of Sudlersville Vol Fire Company, where he was a former line officer and the Chicken BBQ committee chair.  He loved fishing, BBQing, NASCAR and spending time with his children and friends that he saw as family and all his extra free time in his man cave.  Bill also enjoyed playing with his coyote caller.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Hope; 5 children, Bryanna Brown (Steve), Hunter Francis, Madison Carson (James), Jessica Brown (Stephen) and Josh Carson (Tiernan); brothers, John H. Brown and James S. Brown, Sr. (Tiffany); his best friend, Bobby Kimble; his many aunts, uncles and cousins; pit bulls Jillian and River and cats Lucifer and Cupcake.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 28 from 9 to 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, where funeral service will begin at 11 am.
