Wayne H. Thieme, 61 of Billings, Montana formerly of Galena, MD passed away on January 22, 2024 at home of cancer.

Wayne was born on March 14, 1962 in Anne Arundel County, son of the late Howard and Dorothy Entzian Thieme.  Wayne was a 1980 graduate of Southern High School. He was a lifelong farmer where he and his dad owned and operated a farm in Anne Arundel County.  In 2001 he and his father began moving their farming operation to the Galena-Massey area, making Galena his home. In 2021 he moved to Montana, where he operated a 13,000 acre ranch, which he loved.

Wayne is survived by his longtime companion and life partner, Barbara Polito.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 2 from 11 am to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 West Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton, MD where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
