Trudy Lynn Parker, 79, of Galena, MD, formerly of Cedarhurst, NY, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.

Trudy was born September 18, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan daughter of the late John and Dorothy Smith. After graduating High School, Trudy served her country in the United States Army at Governors Island NY.

On October 24, 1962, Trudy married Tyrone Parker and together they raised their 3 children Terri, Tommy, and Timmy in Cedarhurst, NY.  Trudy's faith in God and her desire to stay in Gods will formed her life into a strong beacon of light. Trudy had a charitable heart. Always willing to help and offer encouragement.  She was an awesome Wife Mother and Grandmother and friends to many many woman from old to young. She will be missed by all she touched.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Robert Parker in 2021, brother Bruce Smith 2021 and sister Sandra Smith 1945

Trudy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tyrone Parker, The love of her life, daughter Terri Lynn Kerner and husband Stephen, of NY, son Timothy Robert Parker and wife Colette of TX, brothers Dennis, Jerry and Kenny Smith, and her cherished grandchildren Jennifer, Scott, Daniel and Cody.

A viewing will held on Monday January 17, 2022 from 10-11am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech. Funeral service to begin at 11am. Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.  Lunch reception will follow at Faith Bible Church, 407 Dudley Corners RD,  Sudlersville MD. 21668

In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be offered to Trudy and Tyes Maryland church family 'The Missions Program' at Faith Bible Church in Sudlersville, MD
