Thomas M. Nelson, 38 of Rock Hall, MD passed away on August 15, 2026 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.

Thomas was born on November 24, 1987, son of Brent D. and Teresa Tucker Nelson. Thomas was a lifetime resident of Rock Hall where he graduated from Kent County High School in 2005. During high school he played baseball and football. He was raised in a waterman’s home and enjoyed being on the water, oystering and crabbing with his dad. Thomas owned and operated Nelson’s Landscaping. He loved bow hunting.

"Thomas was an admirable and gentle soul who touched everyone he encountered. He had a laugh that could light up a room, and a heart full of love. His loss will forever be felt by the ones he touched in his short time here."

Along with his parents, Brent and Teresa Nelson of Rock Hall, he is survived by the love of his life Taylor Trice and his most prized possessions, his daughters Juliana Hope Nelson and Daphne Jane Nelson; his Chesapeake’s Ruby and Clementine and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service is being planned.
