Thomas H. Conover, Sr., 74 of Galena, MD passed away on January 22, 2025 at Compass Regional Hospice, Centreville, MD.

Tom was born on January 20, 1951 in Mortonville, PA, son of the late Harry E. Conover, Jr. and Helen Grace McClure Conover.  At the age of 5 his family moved to Maryland where he continued to live and work.  Tom had worked with horses for Windfield and Woodstock Farms in Chesapeake City for many years and for 13 years as a custodian for Appoquinimink School District.  Tom was a member of Olivet Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Robert Conover and a step-son Jamie Glen Emory.

Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Gail Emory Conover, sons, Thomas Conover, Jr. and Scott M. Conover, a sister Alice Hyatt, brothers, Harry Conover and John Conover and a granddaughter, Danica Lynn Paige Conover.

A memorial service will be held on February 8, 2025 at 11 am at Olivet United Methodist Church, Galena, MD, where fellowship will follow in church hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Rd., Centreville, MD 21617.
