Terence Lee Exum, 58 of Worton, MD passed away at home on April 22, 2023.

Terence was born on February 23, 1965 in Chestertown, MD and raised in Wilmington, DE. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving 3 years. Terence worked for several restaurants as a cook, which he loved doing. He also lived in Coatesville, PA, Florida and most recently in Worton, MD. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Teeana Marie Exum and a sister, Debra 'Penny' Exum.

Terence is survived by his daughter La`Teeshya M. Exum of New Castle, DE, his mother and stepfather, Rosie Perkins Herbert and Jackie Herbert, Sr of Clayton, DE.; his father, Clarence Thomas Exum of Phoeniz, AZ; siblings, Reginald G. Perkins of Magnolia, DE, Jackie Herbert Jr. of Georgetown, DE, Kimberly Herbert of Smyrna, DE, Tracy Hammond of Wilmington, DE, Brady Muhammad of Wilmington, DE, Sheila Exum and Judy Exum both of Chestertown, Debra Exum of Raleigh, NC, John Exum of Merced, CA and Kerri Exum of Martinez, CA. and 2 grandchildren, Antoine Exum Brooks and Savannah.

A memorial service will be held on May 20 at 3pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD.
