Sylvia E. Reynolds, 91 of Crumpton, MD passed away on January 1, 2023 in Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.

Mrs. Reynolds was born on February 2, 1931 in Rock Hall, MD, daughter of the late James and Delma Watson Higgins.  She was raised in Rock Hall and after her marriage to Charles W. Reynolds, Sr. in 1946 they moved to Worton where she raised her children.  After his death in 2001 she moved to Crumpton, where she enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents and her husband of 54 years, Charles W. Reynolds, Sr., she was preceded in death by a son, James Reynolds.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her children, Charles W. Reynolds, Jr. (Janet) of Church Hill, Jo Ann Baker of Chestertown, Barbara Miller of Chestertown, David Reynolds of Dover, DE, Richard Reynolds of Crumpton and Randy Reynolds of Kennedyville; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown, MD. Pallbearers Brian Thorpe, Jr., Tyler Thorpe, Randy Reynolds, Jr, Mike Reynolds, Michael Reynolds and John Byerly.
