Suzanne K. Long, 80 of Earleville, MD peacefully passed away with her husband, son and daughter by her side on December 25, 2021 in Christiana Hospital.

Mrs. Long was born on April 3, 1941, daughter of the late Josiah Franklin and Jennie Amanda Cohee Kirk.  She was raised in Fredericktown, MD and was a 1959 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School.  In 1960 she married William 'Bill' Long and they began to raise a family.  In 1966 they built a home in Earleville where they continued to live.  For 33 years Suzanne worked as a librarian for Cecil County Public Library in Elkton, MD.  Suzanne was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 61 years, William 'Bill' Long; son, Mark Long and his wife Kathy of Cedar Crest, NM; daughter, Robin Long of Annandale, VA; brothers, J. Ellis Kirk of Chesapeake City, MD and Kenneth Kirk of Elkton, MD; 2 grandchildren, Fallon Long and Mark J. Long and his wife Solange and 3 great grandchildren, Manuel Boyce, Connor Boyce and Logan Long.

Services will be held privately with burial in Galena Cemetery.
