Susan K. (Spackman) Ingram age 64 of Earleville MD, passed away peacefully on March 9th 2024 at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born in Philipsburg, PA on March 29, 1959 daughter of the late Lawrence J. "Jim" and Hazel Spackman. She grew up on her family's farm in Port Matilda PA. and was a 1977 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate PA, and a 1979 graduate of Center Business School in Bellefonte PA. Before moving to MD Sue was employed as an Engineering Secretary with HRB Singer in State College, PA. Upon moving to MD, she was employed by Cecil County Public Schools for 30 years where she worked in the Benefits office in Elkton, and then as the Lead Secretary at Cecilton Elementary School before retiring in 2018. Sue was an avid sports fan cheering on her Steelers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Phillies and Flyers, and was the #1 fan of her boys who were all standout Bohemia Manor athletes. Sue spent her summers at the beach house in Crystal Beach MD boating and beaching on the Chesapeake and hanging out with the CBI crew. She loved travelling to her family's farm in Port Matilda PA, where she would ride the four-wheeler, take long walks, and visit with her family. Many vacations were spent in Florida visiting family in St. Pete Beach and her son in Orlando. Sue loved to cook and bake, and everyone loved her home-made zucchini relish and apple butter.

Along with her parents, Sue was preceded in death by sisters Joan Barnett, and Grace Bartley, brother Norman "Jim" Spackman, and her son Ryan E. Ingram.

Sue is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 35 years Alan Ingram, her sons Matthew Spackman and Benjamin Mihalik, and her sister Roma Kordes along with several nieces and nephews with whom she was very close.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 12 pm to 2 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery, Earleville, MD.
