Helen Elizabeth "Sis" Williams, 81, of Worton, Maryland, passed away at home on February 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Sis was born in Chestertown, Maryland, on November 10, 1944, to the late Robert S. and Helen Benjamin Hadaway. She grew up in Chestertown and was a graduate of Chestertown High School in 1962.

In September of 1963, she married the love of her life, Harry T. Williams II, and they spent the next 50 years together until his passing in 2014. Shortly after they were married, they moved to the family farm in Worton. Sis found her greatest joy in raising her family and assisting Harry T. with the farm operations at Red Acres. In more recent years, she proudly helped her son expand the farm with their hydroponic and vegetable operations, as well as develop an event venue for the next generation.

Sis was never one to sit idle and loved being actively involved in her community. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Questers, and the Republican Central Committee. She also served for many years as a board member of both Worton Union Cemetery and Chester Cemetery. Sis was deeply honored to complete Harry T.'s term as Judge of the Orphans' Court.

Sis enjoyed trips with friends, playing the slots with her cousin Beverly, and spending time with the friends who meant so much to her. Her family was of utmost importance to her, and her kind heart was always welcoming, drawing more and more friends into her life. Her children and grandchildren were the true meaning of life to Sis. The love and closeness they shared was an extension of the deep bond she shared with her mother and sister Bertie.

She is survived by her children, son Bryan Williams (Tracey) of Worton, MD, daughter Shelly Hocutt (Russ) of Powell, OH, and daughter Heidi DeFabritus (Tony) of Freehold, NJ; grandchildren Rachel Nolan (Dave), Bryan B. Williams, Alexis Ecker, Trevin Ecker, JR Hocutt, Nicholas DeFabritus (Colby) and Olivia Elizabeth DeFabritus; step-grandchildren Kaitlyn Hocutt, Hannah Hocutt, and Anthony DeFabritus III; great-grandchildren Lucy Nolan and Oliver Nolan and a goddaughter Tricia Moxley.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Chester Cemetery, Chestertown, MD.
