Shawn Jesse Colpo, 46 of Newark, DE passed away on February 26, 2022 in Christiana Hospital.

Shawn was born on January 5, 1976 in Wilmington, DE son of Dean M. Colpo and the late Deborah Ann Boggs.  He was a lifetime resident of Newark, where he graduated from Newark High School in 1994.

Along with his mother, he was preceded by grandparents, Viola and Jesse Colpo.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Dean & Maria Colpo of Clayton, DE; his brother Thomas Colpo (Allison) of Townsend, DE and a niece and nephew Stephanie and Carter Colpo.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 4 from 9:30 to 10:30 in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am in St. Dennis Catholic Church, Galena.  Burial will be held in Old Bohemia Cemetery, Warwick, MD.
