Sarah Louise Pekera, (nee Lowe) aged 42 of Galena, MD passed away on February 25, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Sarah was born on April 12, 1981, in North Brunswick, NJ, daughter of Brian and Deborah Lowe (nee Shedland). A 1999 graduate of Edgewood High School in Winslow Township, New Jersey she continued her education at Camden County College before joining the United States Army in 2000. She served 3 tours in Iraq working as an intelligence officer and later in the White House Military Office.

After leaving the army, Sarah was employed by Walmart/Sams Club as general manager for the Walmart Distribution Center in Swedesboro, NJ. She enjoyed being with family, boating, crabbing and warm weather.

Along with her parents, Brian and Deborah Lowe of Lewes, DE she is survived by her daughter Madison of Galena, her sister Karolina Brucato (Michael) and her nephews Loghan, Sawyer and Joey Brucato all of Virginia; her dog, Beau and cat, Luca.

A Celebration will be held at a later date.
