Sandra K. Smith, 74 of Elkton, MD passed away on December 10, 2023 at Christiana Care, Union Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 18, 1949, daughter of the late Raymond 'Jake' and Betty Taylor Wooleyhan.  She was a lifetime resident of Cecil County where she was a graduate of Bohemia Manor High School.  She furthered her education to be a travel agent but meeting her husband at her parents' restaurant, the Archway Inn, changed her mind (once she heard him playing music).  After her marriage, they began their family and raised their daughters in Elkton.  She worked in Human Resources at Perry Point VA Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2013.

Sandra enjoyed cooking especially her crab soup and mac and cheese and always had snacks for her grandchildren.  She loved the beach, reading and crabbing with her husband.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 56 years, Mark F. Smith, their daughters, April Smith and Stephanie Scurto (Aaron) all of Elkton; 2 brothers, Jesse Wooleyhan (Diane) and Tommy Wooleyhan and 4 grandchildren, Jada Thompson, Maya Allen, Michael Scurto and David Scurto.

Following Sandra's wishes there will be no service.
