(Sammy) Samuel H. Graybeal, 85 of Millington, MD passed away November 22, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Graybeal was born on February 23, 1937 in Rising Sun, MD, son of the late Samuel C. and Lelar Farmer Graybeal.  After graduating high school, Sammy began working for Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, MD where he met his wife Sarah Lee. In 1968, the family moved to Chestertown as Sammy accepted the position as manager of the Bata Shoe Store in Chestertown.  They raised their family in Foxley Manor until moving to Millington in 1979.  He sold insurance for Baltimore Life and TransAmerica, retiring in 2017.

Sam served on the Millington Town Council for 4 years.  He was a musician, playing the guitar for several bands over the years and performing soul, top 40's and country music.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Mr. Graybeal is survived by his children and their spouses James and Kathy Graybeal, Linda and Warren Walters and Samantha and Gary Schelts; sisters, Bettie Donahoo and Bertie Wukotich; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held by the family in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD.
