Roseann Mary Geers, 89, of Millington, MD, passed away on November 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Roseann was born on September 16, 1935, in Chester, PA, to the late Hugh and Mary Ann (Garrett) Dougherty. She was raised in Chester, where she raised her five children before relocating to Florida. Roseann worked as a homemaker and spent time as a waitress at various places, including Longhorn Ranch, the Hilton, and Walber's on the Delaware.

She had a passion for music, dancing, swimming, exercising, redecorating, renovating, and, of course, shopping. A big fan of Mounds candy bars, she was always known for her vibrant energy. Roseann was deeply involved in church activities and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Her favorite sayings included "Hot damn" and "Oh dear," and she was often described as the "life of the party." She was lucky to have traveled the world with her loving husband Gary.

Roseann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Semon Gary Geers, her children Stephen DeJohn, Hughie DeJohn, and Leo DeJohn, and her siblings Eleanor Dougherty, Denis Dougherty, John Dougherty, and Hugh Dougherty.

She is survived by her daughters Christine DeJohn, Maria Marshall (Michael), Emily DeJohn, and her sister Margaret DiEmidio. Roseann is also survived by four grandchildren—Christopher, Justin, Stephen, and Danielle—and a great-grandson, Brenden, along with many nieces and nephews, and her loyal grandpuppy and protector, "Gabbie".
