Rose Marie Moore, 91 of Millington, MD passed away on April 29, 2024.

Rose was born on August 12, 1932 in Blackbird Station, DE, daughter of the late John Edward Squares and Laura Clemintine Sword Squares.  After her marriage in 1952 to Noah Moore they moved to Warwick, MD where they started their family. They later moved to New Castle, DE and in 1977 to Millington.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, especially growing flowers and strawberries, playing with her grandchildren, puzzles and game.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall since its beginning in 1963.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 53 years, Noah Moore, Sr. and her siblings, Libby Blanchfield, Myrtle Blanchfield, John Squares, Martha Large, Ruth Carroll, Laura Lugavoy, Ida Mae Ford, Jimmy Squares and Louise Foraker.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her children, Cynthia Ruschak, Ruth Ann Godfrey, Noah S. Moore, Jr. and Lisa Mae Moore all of Millington, Patricia Ann Whitlock of Middletown, DE, Virginia E. Moore of Seaford, DE and Minnie Irwin of Newark, DE; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-greatgrandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 11 at 1 pm at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, 2020 McGinnes Rd., Chestertown, MD 21620

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Kingdom Hall.
