Robin S. Bland, 64 of Shallotte, NC, passed away on June 24, 2024 in Regency Hospital, Florence, SC.

Robin was born on October 31, 1959 in Chestertown, MD, daughter of the late Ronald R. Bakeoven, Sr. and Shirely Ransom Bakeoven Struble. She was raised in Kent County where she had worked for several retail stores until moving to North Carolina in 2016.  Robin enjoyed playing pool and spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded by her husband Jack David Bland.

She is survived by her son David Bland and grandchildren, Roxie and Otis Bland all of Shallotte, NC; her brother Bob Bakeoven of Millington; sisters Shirlyn Edwards of Rock Hall, Gerri Cahall (Jack) of Earleville and Debbie Alexander (Chuck) of Millington.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 11 to 12 in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
