Robert "Bob Bob" T. Nicholson Jr, 65 of Barclay, MD passed away surrounded by his loving family, on March 16, 2023 at Bayhealth Hospital-Kent Campus in Dover, DE.

Bob was born on June 28, 1957 in Chestertown, MD, son of the late Robert T. Sr and Geraldine Nicholson.  Bob worked as a self-employed truck driver is entire life. He was born and raised in Still Pond until moving to Barclay in 1982. Bob was a member of Chestertown and Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Companies, he served as Chief Engineer and EMS Captain for Sudlersville. Bob was also a Town Commissioner for Barclay for several years. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman but most of all, loved spending time with his grandsons, Robbie and Alex.

Along with his parents, he was preceded by a sister Bunnie Grussing.

Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years, Robin Nicholson, son Robert T. Nicholson (Ashley), daughter Amanda Crossley (Eric), grandchildren Robert "Robbie" T. Nicholson, IV Alexander "Alex" L. Nicholson, sister Sue Hague (Zeke), Dale Nicholson (Beetle), brother-in-law Jerry Grussing, and very close friends, Frankie Williams, Eddie Starrt and Roderick "Bam" Miller.

A viewing will be held Saturday March 25, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross Street, Galena, MD 21635. There will be a second viewing from 11am to 12pm on March 26, 2023, followed by the service at 12pm, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sudlersville Cemetery.
