Robert J. Gasiorek, 88 of Kennedyville, MD passed away on August 14, 2022 at University of Maryland Medical Center at Easton.

Mr. Gasiorek was born on January 4, 1934, son of the late John and Amelia Gasiorek.  He was raised in Connecticut, where he graduated high school and furthered his education in Business Management at Bryant College.  In 1955 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1957.  He moved to Miami, FL where he met and married his wife.  In 1960 they moved to North New Jersey where he began his career with RCA.  Several years later they moved to Cherry Hill where he retired from RCA after 27 years of service.  They enjoyed boating on the Sassafras River and in 1978 moved to Kentmore Park, where he loved fishing, hunting and boating.  Mr. Gasiorek was a member of Kennedyville U. M. Church and the Kentmore Park Civic Association.

Along with his parents he was preceded by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine Johnson Gasiorek in 2008 and 2 children, Mark J. Gasiorek and Christine Hickman.

Mr. Gasiorek is survived by a son and daughter in law Scott B. and Ann Gasiorek of Marlton, NJ; his companion Joyce Burris of Kennedyville; 4 grandchildren Chelsea H. Larigan, Hunter Hickman, Nathan Hickman and Arin Gasiorek and 2 great granddaughters Savannah and Caroline.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 21 at 1pm at Shrewsbury Cemetery, Kennedyville, MD
