REV CARL H. HARDIN, 79, of Kennedyville, MD, went to be with the lord on September 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family in Henderson, MD after a brief, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Rev Hardin was born in Athens, Texas March 11, 1942, son of the late Carl Thurman Hardin and Alma Marie Potter. For the past 38 years, Rev Hardin lived in Kennedyville with his late wife, Reba Ann Hardin, until her passing in 2008. Rev Hardin adored spending time with his family, doing word searches. Rev Hardin also loved yard sales and auctions. Rev Hardin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. Rev Hardin served as the pastor of Grace Apostolic Church in Kennedyville, MD from 1979 until his passing. Rev Hardin was licensed in the United Pentecostal Chuch since March 1, 1965.

Along with his parents, Rev Hardin is preceded in death by his wife, Reba Ann Hardin, a brother Benny Potter and 1 daughter, Reba Marie Postles.

Rev Hardin is survived by his daughter Carla Ann Morgan and her husband Darrell of Henderson, MD, his son Carl Hardin and his wife Jennifer of Millington, MD and also his son-in law, Wayne Postles of Kennedyville, MD, 2 brothers  Jim Potter of Le Blanc, LA, Bobby Potter of Calcasieu, LA, 1 sister Lana Davis of Glenmora, LA, 6 grandchildren Carlena and her husband Brian Aldrich, D.J. Morgan and his significant other Sylina of Chestertown, MD, Michael Postles and his wife Sarah of Kingstown, MD, Carl-David Hardin of Nashville, TN, Danielle Morgan and her significant other Eric Tribbitt of Henderson, MD and Leanna Hardin of Millington and 9 great-grandchildren Brian, Skyler, EJ, Weston, Jaxson, Julian, Isabella, Ellie and Dillon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 21 at 12pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where friends may call from 10am to 12pm. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna, DE.
