Preston O. Cahall, Jr, 83 of Earleville, MD passed with his family by his side on November 8, 2022.

Mr. Cahall was born on January 16, 1939, son of the late G. Ivan and Catherine Stiteler and Preston O. Cahall, Sr.  He was a lifetime resident of the Cecilton-Earleville area.  In 1958 he entered the U.S. Army where he served 2 years in Germany during the Vietnam era.  After his honorable discharge in 1961 he married Bernice Edwards and made their home in Hacks Point.  Preston worked for local farmers until he began his trucking business, retiring in 2010.

He loved boating, truck pulls and snowmobiling but was most known for his Red 57' Chevy, seen in cars shows and parades.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roy Cahall and sisters, Emma Jane Cosner and Joyce Husfelt.

Preston is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bernice Edwards Cahall; children John Jackie Cahall (Gerri) and Tina Farrow (John) all of Earleville; siblings Linda Funk, Robert, William and Julie Cahall; grandchildren, Amanda Cahall (Joe), Chuck McCracklin (Holly), Stephen Farrow (Brittany) and Christopher Farrow (Camryn) and a great grandchild Ryan McCracklin.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 15 from 10 to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, MD
