Patrick H. Hines, Jr. "Buddy", 65 of Earleville, MD passed away on September 10, 2020 at Christiana Care-Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Buddy was born on July 17, 1955, son of the late Patrick H. Hines, Sr and Lillian Park Hines Foraker.  He had worked for Waste Management as a mechanical engineer for many years.  He also worked at the Crab Shack in Chesapeake City for Paul Shirk and more recently Jerry Swyka.   He has lived in the Cecilton/Earleville area where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.  Buddy loved listening to his music, spending time with his children, grandchildren and family.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Walter Foraker and a sister Arlene Schneider.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra Craig Hines; children, Shannon Hines (Jason Johns) of Elkton, Stephanie Reamy of Chesapeake City, Shaun Hines of Earleville and Shane Hines of Earleville; his siblings, Wilma Hines of Littleton, CO, John Hines of Middletown, DE, Michael White of Odessa, DE, James Hines of Warwick, MD, Mary Ferguson of Elkton, Roberta Dopp of Earleville and Barbara Bowen of Georgia and 7 grandchildren, Kayla Rodgers, Hunter Rodgers, Gavin Hines, Caleb Reamy, Gabriella Reamy, Bryli Hines and Brooke Hines.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 15 from 6 to 8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16 at 11 am.  Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
