Patricia Bourne Bryant, 91, of Earleville, MD passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Pat was born in Philadelphia, Pa, on March 12, 1934 to the late Thomas B. Bourne III and Edith Humphreys Bourne. She attended school in Queen Anne's County through the 9th grade before graduating from Villa Maria Academy in Malvern, Pa. After graduation she married Albert Bryant, Jr. Together they owned and operated a farm in Cecil County which she still lived and ran. Besides operating the farm she worked as a loan officer for Farm Credit Bank and owned Cecilton Market.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, nature and riding horses. She was an active member of St. Dennis Roman Catholic Church in Galena where she enjoyed volunteering.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Raymond Bryant, Jr. in 1964, her siblings, Thomas B. Bourne, IV, Peter H. Bourne, Joan H. Bourne, James A. Bourne and Michael O. Bourne.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Edith Bryant-Dunn (Richard Connell) and Joan B. Freeman (Eric) both of Earleville, MD; grandchildren, Jessie Plato (Bobby), Brian Dunn (Megan), Tori Freeman (Rich Merritt), Kieran Dunn (Lexy), Tucker Freeman (Carissa Tironi), Dallan Dunn, Reghan Dunn (Matthew Jaworski); great grandchildren, Ashlyn Patricia Plato, Coalson Robert Plato, Abigail Dunn, Britan Victoria Plato, Rowan William Dunn and baby Freeman (due January).
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27 from 3 - 5 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 28 at 11am in St. Dennis Roman Catholic Church, Galena. Burial will follow in St.Dennis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to St. Dennis Church, Accent Care Hospice or All About Me Adult Day Program.
