It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Nancy Callahan Case.

Nancy was a long-time resident of Havre de Grace before moving to Galena, MD where she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 19, 2025.  She was a 1953 graduate of Havre de Grace Sr. High School.

Nancy was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Chestertown.  She was a member of the Galena Busy Bee's and was a Pen Pal to many schoolchildren in the area.  Nancy enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and crossword puzzles.

Beloved by many, Benevolent to all.

Nancy was predeceased by her daughter; Charlotte Stewart, previous husband; Paul Dominick, brothers; James, Fred, Robert and Allen, sisters; Margaret (Peggy) Kerr and Mary Sue McCumber.

Nancy is survived by her son Daniel Stewart of Darlington, her husband of 30 years, Charles Case of Galena and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Charlotte Hawkins of Havre de Grace and many nieces and nephews near and far.

A visitation will be held on April 15, 2025 from 10 to 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 11 am. Buial will follow in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD
