Michael Andrew Hurtt, 63 of Still Pond, MD passed away on July 8, 2022 at Shore Medical Center at Easton.

Mr. Hurtt was born on February 8, 1959, son of the late Thomas E. Sr. and Gladys Caldwell Hurtt.  He was raised in Clayton, DE and worked as a mechanic for Angelica Nursery.  Michael loved fishing, watching westerns and enjoyed old country music.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Fred and Leonard 'Buddy' Hurtt

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Gears Hurtt; sons Michael Hurtt Jr. (Cynthia) and Jeremy Hurtt both of Dover; step-children Sheila Dixon and William 'Tommy" Nicholson (Tisha) of Still Pond and Brenda Ewing (Tom) of Worton; a brother Thomas E. Hurtt, Jr. (Sally) of Golts; 3 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday July 15, 2022 at 11am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, where friends may call an hour prior. Burial will follow in the Still Pond Cemetery.
