Mary Louise Wilds, 70 of Galena, MD, died in Elkton Rehabilitation Center, Elkton, MD.

Mary Lou (Lou) was born on September 10, 1955 in Crumpton, daughter of the late (not too late) Granville Harrison Wilds and Mary Louise 'Dwyer' Wilds.

She is survived by her brother Granville (Gran) Wilds, Jr. (Marie) of Millington, MD, her sister Theresa Ann Graciano of Middletown, DE; 2 nieces, Sabrina (Gio), and Kelly (Chad), 2 nephews Justin (Kristin), and Tyler (Abby); great nieces McKenzie, Shelby, Rachel and Kamerin.

Mary Lou graduated from Queen Anne's County High School, Class of 1974, Centreville, MD.  She wanted to be a nurse, so she started working at Chestertown Hospital, Chestertown, MD, where she worked until 1983, when she had an auto accident which ended her career.

From there she became the best wildlife rehabber in Galena, every dog, cat, bunny and bird that needed rehabbing and care Lou was the person for that.   Lou was able to nurse them and release them back to nature.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 10 from 10 to 11 am in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
