Mary E. Maule, 95 of Galena, MD passed away on February 28, 2021 in her home.

Mrs. Maule was born on December 26, 1925 in Queen Anne's County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Sr. and Ethel Burris Shelton.  She was raised in Massey and attended Millington School.  Mary worked for Bill Voshell on his farm, as a laborer and housekeeper.   She also worked at Leeds Travelware in Clayton, DE.  Mary was a member of the Chesterville Homemakers and enjoyed volunteering at Community VFC in Millington with their dinners.  She loved playing cards, watching her soap operas and working work search puzzles.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, George Ellwood "Junnie' Maule in 1998; her brother, Raymond 'Buck' Shelton and her first husband of 7 years, Horace G. Shahan.

Mrs. Maule is survived by her daughter, Dottie Yeager (Robert Sr.) of Galena, 4 grandchildren, James Yeager, Sr. (Amber), Sharon Bilbrough (John), Vickie Billings (Jack Ash), and Robert Yeager, Jr,; 13 great grandchildren and 9 great greatgrandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 5 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 1 pm.  Burial in Asbury Cemetery, Millington.
