Mary Louise (Daniels) Matthews, of Warwick, MD, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, just one week shy of her 100 ^th birthday.  She was born on May 6, 1919 in Earleville, MD, daughter of the late Herbert B. and Beulah Divine Daniels.  In 1937, she married Manly R. Matthews, Sr.  Together they had 4 children, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson that is on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manly, her son James 'Jimmy', her daughter-in-law Josephine 'Jody' and great-grandson Joshua.

She is survived by her children, Manly 'Boots' Matthews, Jr. and Joan Matthews both of Warwick, and Bonnie Campbell (Gary) of Townsend, DE; her grandchildren Carol Wroth (Don) and Ronald Matthews (Dianna) both of Seattle, WA, Roger Matthews and Roseanne Matthews both of Warwick and Stephen Campbell-King (Charles) of Middletown, DE; her great grandchildren, Dawn Gilbert, Katie Wroth, Andrew Wroth, Tyler Matthews and Zachary Matthews and many nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed frequently visiting with her many family and friends.  She loved Frappuccino's, onions rings, shopping and going to the Dixon Auction in Crumpton.  She will be greatly missed by many.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 3 from 12 to 1 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will begin at 1 pm.            Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Earleville, MD.
