Mary E. Forsyth, 72 of Chestertown, MD passed away on May 29, 2023 at Northwest Hospital, Randallstown, MD.

Mary was born on June 19, 1950 in Cape May, NJ. daughter of the late Steven Forsyth and Mary E. Shivers.  She was raised in Cape May and moved to Chestertown where she was a nurse at Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1991.

Mary was a member of the Alano Club where she mentors people struggling with addiction.  She loved the beach and collection of sea shells but her true love was her family especially her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, Richard Joseph O'Neill (Leah) and Shannon O'Neill-Perez (Scott); a stepdaughter, Katie Schrader-Guldi (Scott) and 4 grandchildren, Richard O'Neill, Michael O'Neill, Aaron O'Neill and Maura O'Neill and her companion Ronald Schrader.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Alano Club, 103 Dixon Dr., Chestertown, MD 21620.
