Mary Anne Amirikian of Centreville, MD went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2022.  She was 91.

Mary Anne was born on January 1, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes Rehfus. Mrs. Amirikian graduated from the Villa Maria Academy in 1948 and graduated from the University of Delaware in with a degree in Education. Mrs. Amirikian taught elementary school in Queen Annes County for 30 years. Upon retirement in 1992 Mrs. Amirikian enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, and needle point.  She also enjoyed collecting antique furniture and china with her late husband.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow up. Mrs. Amirikian was a longtime member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Centreville, MD.

Mrs. Amirikian was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard Armen Amirikian, her sons Richard Armen Amirkian Jr and Robert Amirikian.

She is survived by her son Ronald Amirikian and wife Faith of Centreville, MD, her three grandchildren Lisa Larson (Axle) of Essex, VT, Samantha Davis (Derrick) of Greenville, SC, and Anthony Amirikian (Allison) of Greenville, SC, her two step-grandchildren Michael Wheeler (Erin) of Dover, DE, and Joseph Wheeler (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO, and her great grandson, Patrick Elwood Davis of Greenville, SC.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 21 at 11 am in Mothers of Sorrows Church, Centreville, MD

Memorials may be offered to Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 303 Chesterfield Ave., Centreville, MD 21617.
