Marian Dwyer Kealey, 88 of Betterton, MD passed away on October 28, 2022 at Peak Healthcare, Chestertown, MD.

Mrs. Kealey was born on August 16, 1934 in Betterton, MD, daughter of the late Theodore "Jack" Dwyer and Mildred Parsons Dwyer. Mrs. Kealey worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years as a letter carrier and clerk in Chester, PA and Still Pond, MD.  She admired all animals, particularly dogs and cats with no differentiate between pets or stray (travelling) animals. She also enjoyed antiques, flower gardening, floral arranging and being with her family and friends. She had lived in Pennsylvania, Cecil County, Cumberland, returning to her beloved Kent County in 2013.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Kealey, Sr. and a sister Jean D. Mosley.

Mrs. Kealey is survived by her 3 children, 2 step-children; a sister Jessie May Kealey, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 4 from 1 to 2 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD, where funeral service will begin at 2 pm.  Burial will follow in Still Pond Cemetery, Still Pond, MD.
