Margaret Kathleen DeBoer, 'Katie', 38 of Earleville, MD formerly of Richmond, VA, passed away on November 11, 2020.

Katie was born on January 13, 1982, daughter of Jacqueline Sheridan DeBoer and the late David Emmett DeBoer, Sr.  She had lived in Richmond, VA until moving to Earleville in 2008.  Katie loved music, art and writing poetry.

Along with her mother, Jacqueline Sheridan DeBoer of Earleville, MD; she is survived by her son, her greatest joy and love of her life, Joshua David Beard of Earleville, MD; a sister Kelly Shields (Tyler), a nephew Logan James Shields, a niece Lauren Marie Shields of Cary, NC; a brother David Emmett DeBoer, Jr., sister in law Stephanie DeBoer; a niece Leah Vivian DeBoer of Boston, MA; an uncle P. Daniel DeBoer (Catherine), an aunt Beth Pearce (Tom) of Richmond, VA, an uncle Edward M. Sheridan of Elkton, MD; and cousins Jacob DeBoer, Austin Pearce and Ben Pearce.

Services will be held privately in Waynesboro, VA.
