Margaret Stryker DeLucia, 84, passed away peacefully in Fishers, Indiana, on April 20, 2026, from complications related to Parkinson’s Disease, surrounded by members of her family. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on August 3, 1941, and raised in Carneys Point, New Jersey. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1959. She was the daughter of Harvey I. Stryker, Sr. and Mary C. Stryker.

After raising her family, Margaret worked as an Account Executive and Customer Advocate for MBNA in Wilmington, Delaware, for more than 15 years. She retired in 2003. She was active in the League of Women Voters and the Democratic Party.

She is survived by three children: Jerome DeLucia (Marjorie) of San Antonio, Texas, Jeanne Wood of Carrollton, Texas, and John DeLucia (Amy) of Fishers, Indiana, five grandchildren (Joshua DeLucia, Jillian DeLucia, Jack DeLucia, Jacob DeLucia and Janelle Anderson), three great granddaughters (Jianna, Jemma Rae, and Jocelyn), as well as siblings, Romayne Galvin, Sally Jastram, William Stryker, Jane Killman, Mark Stryker, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Nancy J. Stryker, Harvey I. Stryker, Jr., Jackie Rossi, and grandson, Jerome DeLucia.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30 from 6-8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dennis Church, Galena, MD on Friday, May 1 at 11 am. Interment will immediately follow at Galena Cemetery.
