Mary Virginia Wheat, 'Ginger', 70 of Camden, DE passed away on October 31, 2022 at Bay Health, Kent General Hospital.

Ginger was born on September 12, 1952, daughter of the late Thomas A. Wheat, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Trolley Wheat.  She was raised in Sudlersville where she was a 1971 graduate of Queen Anne's High School.  Ginger worked for the Acme Market for 15 years and as a Dietary Aide at Chestertown Hospital.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Dalton Davis and a daughter in law, Mary Davis.

Ginger is survived by her children, Michael Davis, Sr. (India Hurtt) of Crumpton, MD and Heidi Davis of Camden, DE, a sister Barbara George (Ted) of Harrington, DE; brother, Thomas 'Tay' Wheat, Jr. of Smyrna, DE; grandchildren Michael Davis, Jr. (Amanda), William Davis (Devan), Matthew Davis, Kelise Davis and Isabella Davis and an adopted daughter Michelle Chambers and her 5 children, Ella, Boba, Mary Beth, Julia and Dakota.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 7 at 1pm at St. Paul's Cemetery, 7600 Sandy Bottom Rd., Chestertown, MD.
