Lorraine Mae Lutz Ortman, 86 of North East passed away on February 7, 2024 at the Resorts at Chester River Manor, Chestertown, MD.

Mrs. Ortman was born on August 14, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Henry John Lutz and Marie E Benson Lutz.  She had lived in Baltimore County where she raised her family until moving to North East in 2000 after her husband's retirement.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Ortman, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, David Freund, Jr. and Jessica Vetter; sisters, Esther Hoffman and Jean Mihalos and brothers, Richard and Henry Lutz.

Mrs. Ortman is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert W. Ortman; daughters, Denise M. Woodall and her husband Charles and Donna Lee Ortman; sister, Edith Chance; brother, Thomas Lutz; 3 grandchildren, Angela M. Kreis, Brittany Vetter and Charles Woodall, Jr. and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.
