Leroy Darnell Hamilton Jr., lovingly known as "Lee" and "Junior," died peacefully at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore on September 20, 2026. He was 63 years old.

Junior was born on January 19, 1963, to the late Leroy "Punky" and Diane Hamilton in Cecilton, MD, where he was also raised. He graduated from Bohemia Manor High School in 1981, where he was an avid basketball player. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country for three years. After his time in the service, he met his wife, Tracy, and moved to Chestertown, MD. Over the years, he worked for several companies in Chestertown before relocating to Elkton, MD. Once back in Elkton, he and Tracy expanded their family, welcoming their children, Ryan and Aaliyah.

Junior was always an incredibly hard worker. Before his untimely passing, he worked as a Sales Associate and MET Team Supervisor at Home Depot for over 15 years. Alongside his career at Home Depot, he also dedicated six years of service to the Bayside Community Network. An avid sports fan, Junior loved watching football, especially when it came to his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. He took immense pride in the landscaping and upkeep of his yard, particularly when preparing to host his cherished family gatherings. Junior possessed a special, one-of-a-kind humor and truly loved making people laugh.

Junior was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Hamilton; his sister, Christine Hamilton; and his mother-in-law, Jean Felton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tracy; his devoted children, Ryan and Aaliyah; his mother, Diane; his father-in-law, Benjamin Felton; his sisters, Connie, Sandy, Regina, Carla, Nicole, Jeri, and Kendra; and his brother, Larry.
