Leroy Darnell Hamilton Jr., lovingly known as 'Lee' and 'Junior' died peacefully at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore on September 20, 2026. He was 63 years old.

Leroy was born on January 19, 1963 to the late Leroy 'Punky' and Diane Hamilton in Cecilton, MD. He was raised in Cecilton and graduated from Bohemia Manor High School in 1981 where he played Basketball. After High School he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for 3 years. After his service in the Army he worked as a Sales Associate and Met Team Supervisor at Home Depot. He also continued his career as a counselor at the Bayside Community Network where he served for over 6 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching football, especially his Miami Dolphins.

In addition to his father, Leroy is preceded in death by his sister Christine Hamilton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Tracy Hamilton; children Ryan Hamilton and Aaliyah Hamilton; mother Diane Hamilton; father-in-law Benjamin Felton; siblings Connie Hamilton, Sandy Hamilton, Larry Hamilton, Regina Hamilton, Carla Hamilton, Nicole Hamilton, Jerri Hamilton, and Kendra Hamilton.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L Schaech, 118 W Cross St. Galena, MD. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Co., 110 E. Main St. Cecilton, MD on Saturday September 26, 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
