Layla Marie Schelts of Cecilton passed away suddenly at the Christiana Care Union Hospital on August 5, 2021.

Layla was born on July 21, 2021 to Kyle M. and Paige E. Warren Schelts.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sisters Mackenzie Schelts and Piper Schelts, maternal grandparents Chandra Warren and Gary Warren, paternal grandparents Wayne and Deborah E. Schelts, maternal great grandparents Gary and Mary Warren, and paternal great grandparents Henry and Connie Engrem.  She is also survived by uncles Marshall Schelts (Bri), Cody Schelts, and Zechariah J. Warren (Briana), aunts Bethany Warren and Emily Warren, and cousins Nadia, Kaleb, Aubrey and Christian.

She was preceded by her maternal great grandparents Ingrid and Robert Gase as well as her paternal great grandparents Jean and Robert Walters.

A funeral service will be held on August 11, 2021 at 7pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech 118 West Cross St. Galena, MD 21635.

Inurnment will be private.
