Kathryn M. Lovell (Kay), 89 of Galena, MD passed away February 2, 2021.

Kay was born on October 14, 1931 in Rahway, NJ, daughter of the late Walter E. and Irma S. Firnstahl Chaput.  Due to her father's occupation, the family resided in several states prior to her graduation from Niagara Falls, NY High School class of 1950.  Upon graduation Kay began her career with the DuPont Company which spanned 42 years.  She married Robert Lovell in 1973, and they lived together in NJ before relocating to Galena in 1992.  In her retirement Kay enjoyed pleasure boating, yard work and volunteering for Saint Dennis Church and the Galena Volunteer Fire Company.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert W. Lovell and 6 brothers: Joseph T., Walter S., Robert F., Gerald G., Tarcisius A. and Donald J. Chaput.

She is survived by her two sons: R. Mark Titus and his wife, Kathy (Hughes) of NJ and Kevin N. Titus and his wife Lisa (Caporale) of DE; 2 brothers, Lawrence J. of VT and Harold E. of NJ; a grandson Alex Titus of OH; sister-in-law Lil Chaput of Straubing, Germany and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately, but friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 12 pm in the Galena Cemetery, N. Main St. Galena, MD.  Everyone should wear masks and practice social distancing please.
