Cecelia Farrow, 100 of Rising Sun, MD died surrounded by grandson, Philip his wife Jenny and great grandchildren, Jeffery, Jemma and Josie Farrow on December 29, 2019.

Mrs. Farrow was born on October 27, 1919 in Crumpton, MD, daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice Harbison Blackiston.  After her marriage to Desmond J. Farrow they moved and raised their family in Westminster, MD and Lebanon, PA until retiring to North East, MD.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Desmond J. Farrow; children, Betty Farrow, Desmond Farrow, Jr. and Victor Farrow; her brothers, Charles, George, James and Ralph Blackiston.

Mrs. Farrow is survived by her grandson with whom she lived Philip and Jenny Farrow of Rising Sun, MD, granddaughter, Danielle of Elkton, MD, granddaughter, Amanda Danico of NC, grandson, Robbie Farrow of PA, grandson JB Farrow of MD and grandson David Farrow of PA: several great grandchildren and a sister, Catherine Blackiston.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 11 to 12 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena where funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Burial will follow in Crumpton Cemetery.
