Judith Ann Stafford, 78 of Galena, MD passed away on December 15, 2021 at home.

Judy was born on January 2, 1943 in Haddonfield, NJ. Daughter of the late Warren and Margaret Sheppard.  She was raised in New Jersey and moved to California for several years until returning to Massey, MD in 1971.  She was a seamstress.  Judy was a devoted member of Chestertown Baptist Church for 38 years.  She loved to sew, read, travel and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tony Monzo and her brother, John Sheppard.

Judy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Randall B. Stafford, III; sons Michael C. Monzo (Debbie) of Bridgeville, DE and Sean T. Stafford (Tracy) of Preston, MD; brothers David Sheppard of Texas, Jim Sheppard of Florida and Fred Sheppard of New Jersey; 3 grandchildren, Michael Monzo, Jr, Erica Stafford and Mellisa Stafford; 2 great grandchildren, Payton Monzo and Ryan Plank and a nephew Alan Sheppard.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 22 from 11 to 1pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 1 pm.  Burial will follow in Massey Cemetery, Massey, MD
