Joseph J. Goehl, 68 of Pocono Lake, PA, passed away on October 28, 2022 in Galena, MD.

Joe was born on January 2, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, son of John F. Goehl and Catherine McDevitt Goehl.  He was raised between Philadelphia and the Poconos.  He worked as a manager for Pathmark.  Joe loved traveling, sailing, golfing, playing tennis and all types of animals. Joe was loved by everyone he met.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Kochanski.

Joe is survived by his companion Joyce Meers of Galena; 2 brothers John 'Jack' Goehl (Kay) of Florida and Thomas J. Goehl (Marilyn) of NC; 3 sisters Kathy Monaghan, Dolores Luby (Dave) and Loretta Margerum all of Pennsylvania; a special aunt, Mary McDevitt of New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be held on December 3, 2022 at 1pm at the Deep Blue at Kitty Knight House in Georgetown, MD.
