John Frederick Reed, Jr., 55 of Elkton, MD died on April 3, 2021 at home.

Freddie was born on May 23, 1965, son of the late John Frederick Reed, Sr. and Barbara Haley.  He was raised in Fredericktown until moving to Warwick.  Freddie worked as a horse trainer for several racetracks in Florida, Delaware and Maryland.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and playing poker.

Freddie is survived by his brothers, Gary Reed and Kevin Reed and his wife Carolyn both of Elkton, 2 nephews, Kevin and Tyler Reed and niece, Brittany Reed.  He will be dearly missed by his cousins, Danielle Kendro and Paulette Miller and devoted friends, Steve Losten, Roger Matthews and Gregory Johnson.

Service will be held privately by his family.
