John 'Jack' Franklin Griffin, Sr. 63 of Church Hill, MD, passed away peacefully in his home on January 23, 2025.

Jack was born on February 5, 1961.  He was the son of the late Harold Griffin and 'Trudy' Gladys Griffin.  He was raised in Church Hill, MD and graduated from Queen Anne's County High School in 1980.  After high school he went to Lincoln Tech in Baltimore, MD.  He worked as a mechanical technician most of his life.

He was previously a member of the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Department when he was young.

Jack enjoyed working on cars both at work and at home.  He also liked doing things with his boys.  Some of his favorites were riding in his car (GTO convertible), going to car shows, fishing, and working on motors around the house.

Jack is survived by his mother 'Trudy' Gladys Griffin of Church Hill; sister Carol Griffin (Jim McNicholas) of Church Hill; brother David Griffin (Cindy Strauss Griffin) of Centreville; three sons, Leamon Griffin (Stephanie), John Griffin and Travis Griffin, all of Lead Hill, AR., grandsons Levi and Bryston Griffin; and three nieces Candi Saulsbury, Chrystal Walsh and Kaelynn Griffin.

A visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm on January 30, 2025 at the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD where a memorial service will begin at noon.
