John C. Hahn, Jr. "Jack", of Sudlersville, MD passed away at home on June 19, 2025. He was 73 years old.

Jack was born on September 5, 1951, in Elkton, MD, son of the late John C. Hahn, Sr. and Katherine P. Price Hahn. He was raised in Cecilton, MD, and graduated from Bohemia Manor High School in 1969. A dedicated and hardworking man throughout his life, Jack began his career at General Motors and went on to retire from Chrysler in Newark, DE, after 30 years of service. In addition to his work in the automotive industry, Jack was a master electrician and owned CustomToo Electric. He also took pride in managing several rental properties in the area, always staying busy with new projects and responsibilities.

Jack's strong work ethic was evident from a young age—family and friends often joked that he would ride his lawn mower to the baseball field, mowing lawns along the way. His commitment to his work and community never waned. In later years, Jack developed a passion for Standardbred racehorses and enjoyed owning and caring for them, with a special fondness for his horse, FunnyFunnyRiddle. Jack also had a soft spot for animals, especially pigs, and enjoyed collecting pig-themed items.

Jack is survived by his wife of 8 years, Brenda Middleton Hahn; his son Christopher Hahn of Earleville, MD; stepson Michael Beaver of Mountain Grove, MO; a granddaughter Katilyn Hahn of Earleville, MD and grandson Wyatt Beaver of Harrington, DE, and his beloved dog Rip.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26 from 6 to 8 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27 at 11 am. Burial will follow in Sudlersville Cemetery.
