Joan A. Quinn, 90 of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at Accent Care-Christiana Hospital.

Mrs. Quinn was born on September 26, 1935, in Butler, NJ. Daughter of the Late Lester C. and Linnie Rude Kitchell.  She was raised in Butler, where she graduated high school in 1953.  Joan worked for a plumbing company and eventually moved to Texas .  While in Texas she started working for New York Bank in the finance and collections department.  In 1990 her work brought her family back to the East Coast to Delaware where she continued her work for what later became JP Morgan Chase Bank.

Joan loved cooking, shopping, traveling to new places and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.  She was known to be an outstanding dresser, and her great sense of humor and personality.

Along with her parents and her siblings, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerard J. Case and Thomas J. Quinn.

Mrs. Quinn is survived by her daughters, Denise Casale (Jim Tapley) of Plano, TX and Renee L. Bailey (Patrick) of Newark, DE; 6 grandchildren, Taylor Blommaert, Leah Casale, Zackery Casale, Ashlee Laperriere, Britnee Bailey and Justin Bailey and 7 great grandchildren, Tristan Blommaert, McKinley Blommaert, Bentley Bailey, Travis Bailey, Weston Gibson, Owen Gibson and Madalynn Gibson.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 2:30 pm at Old Bohemia Cemetery, Warwick, MD.
