Joan Louise Matthews, 75 of Warwick, MD, died at home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.  She was born on December 18, 1943 in Elkton, MD, daughter of the late Manly R. and Mary L. (Daniels) Matthews of Warwick, MD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James 'Jimmy', sister-n-law Jody and her great nephew Joshua.

She is survived by her brother, Manly 'Boots' Matthews, Jr. and sister, Bonnie Campbell (Gary) of Townsend, DE; her nieces and nephews, Carol Wroth (Don) and Ronald Matthews (Diana) both of Seattle, WA, Roger Matthews and Roseanne Matthews both of Warwick, MD and Stephen Campbell-King (Charles) of Middletown, DE; her great-nieces and nephews, Dawn Gilbert, Katie Wroth, Andrew Wroth, Zachary Matthews and Tyler Matthews.  Joan enjoyed shopping, keeping a neat house and making sure her nails were done.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23 at 11 am in St. Paul's Cemetery, Earleville, MD.

Memorials may be offered to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Earleville, MD.
