Jessica Lyn Owens, 43 of Chestertown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after battling Leukemia.

Jessica was born on October 8, 1981, daughter of Karen Pritt Crouch and the late Bruce W. Owens.  She was a lifetime resident of Kent County where she was raised in Betterton and attended Kent County High School.  For the last 8 years Jessica has worked at Amazon in New Castle, DE. She loved putting her feet in the sand and collecting and designing items with Sea Glass.  She enjoyed all crafts and traveling.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Bruce W. Owens.

She is survived by her daughter Kaylee Owens, her mother and stepfather Karen and Calvin Crouch; a stepsister Logan Crouch; stepbrother Dustin Crouch; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A celebration will be held on June 7 from 2 - 5 pm at the Betterton American Legion, 11 6th Ave. Betterton, MD
