Jean R. Haley, 'Scottie', 93 of Galena, MD passed away on November 7, 2022 at home.

Mrs. Haley was born on December 7, 1928 in Snowhill, MD, daughter of the late Russell J. and Roberta E. Bowdel Bonneville.  She was raised in Wilmington, DE where she graduated in 1946 from PS DuPont High School.  She began working for Wanamaker's in Philadelphia in the 1950's until 1964 and returned in 1980 at their Christiana Mall Store, retiring in 1984.  In 1985 she moved to Galena and worked for St. Stephen's Day Care in Cecilton for 15 years.

Jean was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed listening to the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eugene Haley; a brother Lewis Logue, sister Margaret Logue and dear friends, Mary Brice, Shirley Boyd, Eleanor Cochran and Phyllis Logue.

Jean is survived by her son Brian S. Haley, dear friends Debbie Bramble and Nancy Kleinsmith and her 7 cats.

Per her wishes services will be private.
